Please allow me to introduce myself and to
explain the reason for this letter! My name is carlton Dowdy, USA, (Retired). Several years ago I founded Single
Parents USA but was unable to keep it's doors open because of financial reasons. However, as we have been able to
resolves those issues we have decided to re-open our doors and continue with our original mission of Building a Coast-to-Coast
Network of Single Parents families and empower them by providing then with opportunities to meet and socialize with other
Single Parents as well as with opportunities to learn and grow.
We accomplish our mission through a variety of ways! First, we provide our members with a monthly newsletter as well
as opportunities to attend regularly scheduled mixers, where members and guest can mix and mingle. Whenever possible
we also have local area professionals come and speak to our members about some of the more pressings issues facing single
parents families. Issues like, the economy and financial planning. Or planning for your kid(s) college education
and a host of others! Our monthly newsletter is crammed packed with information on being a single parent as well as
other parting issues.
We also provide a computer
email network where members can go online and discuss issues and problems ... and solutions, with other SPUSA members either
on a one on one basis or as a group! This has proven to be a very successful tool as many of our members are newly divorced/widowed
and just being able to talk to someone who understands their situation is of great value!
We also offer a members only pass word protected profile listing for those single parents
who are interested in meeting other single parents in a more personal way. To participate in our members only pass word
protected profile listing service, you will need to email us a 25-30 word profile of yourself to us at: gospusa@yahoo.com.
At present we do nor allow pictures to be apart of your profile. We do not

based organization. Following are the categories of membership that we offer and the benefits and the cost associated
with each:
Option A: Family Membership - Single Parents
Only!
Applicant must either be either
separated, single, divorced or widowed with at least one child under 18, (Child does not have to be living with you but you
must have some responsibility for the child). Benefits of membership includes access to our monthly newsletter, access
to our pass word protected single parent profile listing services, (Optional), access to all our FREE and or discounted single
parent socials and our discounted buying services.
Membership in Single Parents USA is only $19.95 per year; however, you may even reduce your annual cost by agreeing to a 3

B: Associate Membership!
Associate membership
is open to anyone who is supportive of the mission and goals of Single Parents USA! Benefits of membership includes
access to our monthly newsletter, access to all our FREE and or discounted single parent socials and our discounted buying
services. Married couples must join as a family!
Associate Membership is ONLY $39.95 per year; however, you may even reduce your annual cost by agreeing to a 3 year, 5 year

Business Supportive Membership!
Business Supportive
Membership is open to business owners who are supportive of the mission and goals of Single parents USA, and are willing to
provide 10-50% in profit margin discounts off the products and services that they offer to members of Single Parents
USA, certain exceptions apply. Benefits of membership includes access to our monthly newsletter, access to all
our FREE and or discounted single parent socials and our discounted buying services. Business Supportive members will
be given the opportunity to place a 25 to 30 word advertisement at this web site!
Our Introductory Business Supportive Membership is only $69.95 per year; however, you may
