Q-Cards
A "Fun" and Often
Educational Game You Might Enjoy.
It's simple! All you do is click
on the icon that interest you and read the story behind it. Q-Cards or Pick-A-Card for Kids are designed to help you communicate
with your Kids, friends and others. They are great third party endorsement and mind joggers as I often refer to them.
I have personally used this approach for a long time, especially during the conduct of briefing and speeches. I designed
them to help me remember specific points that I want to make sure is covered whenever I conducted briefing during my military
career. I used them as a teaching and as entertainment while working as a Correctional Peace Officer for the State of
California. My purpose there was to entertain as well as educate. Though I have decided to use them again here,
please note that it is for entrainment purposes only. If you happen to learn something ... don't blame me.
Note: When using them while working with inmate, (wards of the state), I had them Pick-A-Card and I would
then tell them the story behind the card. I would then ask them to explain their understanding of the story to the other
members of the group. I found them to be an excellent way for me to gain a better understanding of the group as a whole
as well as the wards who talked about his understanding of the story behind the card. Because of our purpose with Single
Parents USA, I have added some new cards.
